Morris Traveller with 12 months MOT to October 6th 2015. Free road tax of course. 61k miles. Has had a small fortune spent on it over the last 4 years. Receipts for hundreds and hundreds of pounds spent in the history file which also includes lots of old MOT's and tax discs,
Wasn't used for about 2 years and as a consequence has only covered 600 miles since its 2011 MOT.
Has just had all new brake slave cylinders, shoes, rear drums & master cylinder.
All that was required to pass its MOT was 2 (missing) split pins from the tie rod bars and rear handbrake adjusting. Oh and the washer jets needed adjustment.
In 2010 it had a full Dinitrol underseal at a cost of £400.
All the wood is solid, doors bottoms are fine and rust free. Floors, chassis etc. are all good and appear corrosion free.
Engine sounds sweet and changes through the gears nicely.
Interior is clean and tidy but would benefit from some tlc. It has rear seatbelts and has had a new carpet set in the recent past too.
Because is was off road for 2 years there is the odd bit of surface rust on the rear bonnet edge and a few other corners here and there but it all appears fairly minor (no pun intended) and could easily be sorted. It will need 2 front tyres in the not too distant future as well.
This is a nice solid traveller that can be driven immediately and improved as you go.
Offers considered and Poss PX as need a more modern (retro) estate or 4WD. An E30 Touring perhaps?
