Selling this on behalf of a customer who isn't internet friendly.
This is Angus (she named him and there is even a name plaque on the dash top!) the Audi 80 Estate with a 2.0 petrol engine and Automatic gearbox with 134k on the clock.
He is MOT'd until 8th Oct 2015, currently taxed till end of year but thanks to the government that's no longer transferable but would help for a test drive.
It drives fine without any rattles or clunks, gearbox is smooth and engine runs nicely, brakes are good
But its not a new car and does have some issues the ones i know about are.
There is a gouge/dent in the OSR 1/4 arch after an incident with a wall a couple of years ago, but as the shell is galvanized so its not going rusty even untreated.
Also the OSF wing/arch has bubbling rust around the lip (presume the wings aren't galvanized)
Other than that the bodywork isn't bad, the paint does polish up pretty well. I've given it a wash and quick whip around with the buffer for the pics.
Could do with a few tyres as they are most low on tread
It burns a bit of oil, apparently the rocker cover breathers block up on these but the owner never got around to having me remove and clean it, so we don't know if its that or something else
Also the NS top mount must have gone dry from the low usage as there is a very loud creaking coming from it (but no play or knocks)
The roof lining in the load area is saggy but not too bad
The car was unused for the last 2 months and for the MOT i had to replace a length of fuel pipe that had gone rusty just down line from the tank, charge the battery, top up the oil and fit the spare to the NSF as that tyre was scuffed badly on the inner edge.
He was burning a bit of oil at the test but just scraped through after a good run to burn the residue from the exhaust.
No service history but there are some receipts with the paperwork.
In the last 3 years i've looked after it we have done
Both front lower suspension arms
Both outer CV boots
Plugs, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm (Jan this year)
Replaced the water flange to head and thermostat
Other than that its just needed the normal service stuff.
Manual windows, central locking (all working), sunroof rear load cover
No longer needed after she splashed out on a Merc ML 4x4 so looking for a new home.
