The interview was at 10am, went on for nigh on 2 hours and went really well, they said they'd let me know by the end of next week, got a phonecall at 5pm yesterday asking me if id like the job, hell yeah : The chap i will be working under has a mk2 gti, and got talking about my mk1 gti. Also he is just finishing the resto of a citroen DS, so some good grounds for some car natter The position i got (and will be starting the end of june) is a Junior Designer, well chuffed!

no secret really, just like anything preperation is the key! its only my third interview aswell, althou th other two were for agencies, so its kinda my first interview!
just one person outta our flat of 6 left to get employed now, which must mean after these 4 years of uni not actually being that fun (althou sometimes...) and it being rather stressfull and putting in mental 9am-2am 7 day weeks its paid off!

I'm doing CDT/product design at college atm. whats it like at uni ? Its cool, a lot of hard work, but its enjoyable! You tend to get bitter at everyone doing "mickey mouse" degrees as they have SOO much free time in comparison, but you don't have a shortage of things to talk about in interviews. Also if you do a work placement its a whole lot better, cos there is nowt like real work experience!

I'm doin mechanical engineering, and I know what you mean about the bitterness, iv had none stop work since easter, done 11 assignments, including 2 projects, and then had to revise straight away, got a couple of weeks till my final exam so I'm having a break for a few days. just looking for a placement at the moment cos otherwise I'm gonna have to borrow yet more money to pay rent in july

I've got a Bsc in Product Design. Well done in getting through it, it's a heavy amount of work to do compared to a lot of courses. Double well done in getting work too. Unfortunately the market was flat on its back when I graduated so I never got any proper work other than in Special Effects where the pay was crud. By then I'd been out of the industry too long and it's almost impossible to get back in. I ended up in IT No worries though because I learned loads of practical skillzorx that I used every day on my motors ;D If you don't mind me asking what company?
