Another way would be to remove the front suspension. You could then modify the chassis by installing a C section above the original rail, then cutting part of the original rails away. This would allow you to mount something like a cortina IFS high in the car to lower it. Hydraulics would be much easier to fit then.

Strutted cars can be made to move, bagged cars can be made to move. If it were me with your base car I would do it thus- rims- astro supremes or 13" wires, no question, tucking a stretched tyre into the wheelwell rocks. Keep em clean or get powdercoated parts. the main rust areas on wires are spokes, unless you get daytons and they run stainless. If you want to sit on the deck then strut bag the front, deleaf the rear and run a bag on top of your axle with internal bump stops. Slam Specialies bags are to go for. As for your system, engine driven compressor, 1/2" valves and 2 x 5 gallon tanks. Just my 2p... If you want crazy moves, buy a different car. Like i said before, crazy moves isnt the plan. its the bagging and the styleing is the plan. Bagg, engine, paint, rim, ride. your way seems much less drastic than everyone elses IMO

2.5k wouldn't get you kandy paint. Not unless you did a lot of the prep yourself.
Please don't get rod/Foose wheels, the car wouldn't be a lowrider with them on. As Tom says, Supremes or wires.

Oh, and traditional wires are 13in, not 14in.

cheers man Can you still make a car lay on the tarmac with bags? its not lift I really want from it...its the ultimate low! I guess the size of the wheels would play a big part in it

My scorpio hits its monocoque on the floor on full drop. I have 10mm under my front crossmember...stuff scrapes when I drive it that low. Hydros and bags do the same thing- they lift the car from its lowered position. They don't lower it. Get your car on the floor and then use either method to lift it.

Get your car on the floor and then use either method to lift it. and thats what 90% of people fail to realise when it comes to bags/juice. johnny, as has been said, you can bag the struts. but i see it as a bit pointless when youve got to rip the whole rear end apart to get rid of the leaves, its hardly like youre doing it for ease of fitment or anything. if youre going to that much trouble at the rear, you may as well swop the front suspension out to something more suited.

Lol @ ^ In other news, I think your idea is rad. It would be cool to see an IRS conversion from leaves done. Especially on the Brit equivalent to an Impala. Good luck with it, I say

Anyways, as per the ORIGINAL question.... I think I'm gonna have to roll on some Supremes ive been scouring google images and they do just look great!

Kandy dollar-bill green, or white with pink patterns? Then you could leave the white base (which might save time repainting the awkward bits) Are you gonna go super trad and fit sidepipes with guitar strings taped on the end?

I only had a couple of ideas about pipes yet.....did get it into my head to have a set of two on each side cut out of the front wings just in front of the door towards the bottom. But that could ruin the lines. Migth just go for some nice Chrome Twin pipes out the back I don't want to go too trad otherwise I might as well just buy an impala or something. there seems to be a good flow of Z6's on the 'Bay at most times so I just gotta find one thats good enough body-wise to snap up!

Yeah, pipes might be a bit much. Patterns would be rad on a Zeph, though. That said, they do lend themselves to ultra-trad ranfla styling, par exemple:
