For sale my 1992 volvo 240 SE, 2000cc This car is fantastic and i will be sad to see her go. The car has just gone through an M.O.T, and is taxed until the end of october. It has 139k on the clock. The engine and gearbox are both smooth and drives effortlessly with no knocks or bangs. The car is a modern classic, it looks retro but has all the mod cons! Inside it has electric windows, central locking, power steering, and heated seats! The interior is like brand new with no rips or tears, The car still has the original volvo stereo!. The boot is massive!, and all the carpets etc are clean. Outside the bodywork is in very good condition for its age, all the tyres are good and the paintwork isnt faded, although could do with a polish. The car also has the original wheel trims. The car is very reliable and i would take it anywhere. It also has the genuine volvo bookpack and loads of history. £800    |

This bloke's a timewaster. The car didn't have the stated MOT when I called last week. It may do now as he's a trader. Booked day off to go see, promised returned phone calls didn't happen.
It's on ebay and set to make more than the asking, which is fine, but why not man up and come clean that yr not going to sell it here.

just for anybody who may be following this thread. Bob rang me on saturday, asked if he could view the car beginning of this week i explained the car did not have a full test on it until it was taken to the m.o.t centre today. i also explained to him that i didnt want him to travel from cambridge to collect the car until it was tested as he would not beable to take it. he then rang me this morning and i explained the car was on the way to the test centre and i couldnt say if it would pass first time but when it was sorted i would let him know, the car actually failed on a couple of items and getting retested tomorrow, at no point did i tell him to take the day off work, the man has presumed this all by hiself. on the same note i am not a trader i own a garage and i am a mechanic who has far too many cars.
I have also had SCATBOY from this forum come out today and view my gto, and I'm sure he will back me up in saying I'm an honest seller, not a trader, and more than helpful.
I think bob just spat his dummy out when he stamped his feet and didnt get what he wanted straight away, and not the kind of buyer i want to sell to. but needless to say he didnt ring me to tell me he was upset about anything, just posted a nasty message up here.
I have had enough interest in the car not to have to deal with idiots like that.
And the car is still up for sale.

I have been in contact with Draven666 in relation to this car.
We have been conversing via pm on here, they openly told me that it was on EBay (I'd already found it anyway) when I asked to view the car later this week they told me that they had someone interested in viewing the car Tuesday. Which I appreciate as that gave me an indication that the car may have gone before that point. I'm a pretty good judge of character, at no point did I feel that Draven666 was shifty or a time waster. However I don't know the ''ins and outs' with regards to the issue with this other member.
Personally Draven666 I'm sure will have learnt to be clearer with descriptions in relation to MOT. (However a lot needs to be said that they are not willing to let a car go until fairly repaired and happy with the road worthiness) But I don't think it's fair to openly slate a member on their for sale thread without speaking to them first. This is why I felt compelled to remark.
