I have this little gem for sale.
History:
I am only the 3rd owner since 1990.
The previous owner purchased it around 1993 and used it regularly until 2000, at which point it was tucked away in his garage until i purchased it several months ago. Up until it was parked in 2000 it has a Full service history with all the original MOTs and Handbooks/documentation etc. all of which confirm the mileage.
Recent Work:
as you can imagine after siting in a garage for 14 years it needed some mechanical TLC. In the past few months it has had the following:
Complete Major Service:
Cambelt and water pump
Engine/Gearbox oil
brake fluid change
Brake system overhaul,
New master cylinder
New rear brake cylinders
replacement front calipers with new discs and pads
New front Flexi hoses.
Additional Work:
Replacement starter motor
New metal lower radiator pipe.
New Driving Lamps
The car is in fantastic condition as you would expect of this mileage, Everything works. It even has the original Clarion Stereo. the interior is every bit as good as the rest of the car. even the ash trays are spotless and never used. (interior Pictures to follow)
Only flaws i can see with the the entire car as follows:
the drivers sit has a small repair in the lower bolster.
the is a slight crease in the nearside wing just behind the indicator.
6 months Tax (If purchased before the end of September, New Tax Rules etc.)
12 months MOT
But one of the biggest things about this car is the fact it is 100% standard! If i had the space i would be keeping this as a collectors item.
Certainly wouldn't take a lot to make it mint.
