, Fintail Merc for sale sign in window , Trabi Combi Mk1 Golf Cabrio matt polo Vespa Ape Nice Fiat 600. Noticed afterwards there was a VW cabriolet next to it. American thing? I think it's an East German Simson Peugeot 304 and Fiat Barchetta Alfa Spider Trabi Combi Renault 4 and Trabi I'm sure I've seen a white one with a pink bonnet before?... Trekker/Thing not a Kubelwagen Hmmm, says Fiat 600 on the front badge, 750 (or 700) on the back. Was for sale so in case they were dirt cheap in Germany I had thoughts of driving it back to the UK. I phoned and it was several thousand Euros. And that concludes my first big spots post. Felt it was about time I gave something back. Oh, can anyone tell me wherre i can find out more about the Fiat 600/750s. i think I like them more than 500s now.

nice spots! 304 rocks as for 600s AFAIK they're 500's with longer rear windows. same front end suspension, just a bigger 2 cylinder in back. multipla is completley different in body (obviously) and the front has double wishbones and coils not transverse leaf like the saloons. i'm not that well up on fiats, but I'm sure someone on here will be and I  600 multiplas

There's something different about the front too. Ah yes, the bonnet doesn't clamshell over the lights and the light rims are bigger . Contrast: and I'm sure I've never seen a 600 in the UK. Did they come here?

There are billions of dumped Seat 600s ih Barca. Or there was 3 years ago. Legend has it that it is impossible to buy dumped cars in Spain though.

I feel a holiday coming on. I was half-heartedly thinking of getting a 126 cheap from Poland and driving it back last year. But these beauties.... potentially pre-fitted with hoodride looks for those interested. Who'd be up for flying over and driving back this summer? The more that go, the more tools and tow-ropes we can get on the plane. I feel a plan coming together. Need a catchy plan name. ...Looks out of window for inspiration.... Spain to Rain with car load of cheap booze and fags 07 Anyone with Spanish contacts here? Hmm the red Berlin one has the nicer lights imho. Bigger and buggier.

The Fiat 600 was launched in 1955, two years before the 500, they have a 4 cylinder water cooled push rod engine, same engine in various forms was fitted to 850, 127,unos pandas and cinquecnetos. The 600/750 badged one is probably a Zastava 750 from yugoslavia where the tooling was sold to when Fiat ended production in 1970.
