Had a few hiccups today with the gooon, nothing major (if cracked brake discs aren't anything major) ;D Was getting consistent 1.25-1.26 lap times even with the less than perfect brakes and the completely shot to hell tyres  Are few pics etc can be found www.chippers.me.uk/gallery/gooon/Coombe%2017-05/ |

looks to be a pretty rapid lil' machine  I take it was a test&tune trackday, a radical has a bit of an advantage over you  are you going racing in a class in it, or just for trackdays? |

bodieanddoyle, open testing day at Combe. The plan is to do track days, Hill climbs this year and maybe run in modified saloon next year skamanfrank, My host is getting hammered at present over 4000 hits today please be patient Some pics on PBucket     |

Its a very underrated car, though it is a total animal to drive at present with 1.5bar of boost
A few suspension tweaks are planned which should make it easier to drive and hopefully will also shave another 3-4 seconds off the lap times

Cool, please keep us informed. I've often toyed with the idea of buying a cheap MG Turbo from ebay and going out and embarassing a few nonces in there saxos etc...
