Hi noobie from edinburgh here - been very entertained for weeks by reading the forum - had a few cars over the years - still have a herald 1360 conv - not on the road surprise surprise!! - i'm old enough to remember when retro was new!!! picked up a cinquecento sporting last year - 1998 23K FSH 1 owner so still in good nick - i've got a few mod ideas in my head (very euro!) but thought i'd pop on here and ask for suggestions for mods - all suggestions from crazy to subtle are welcome - i do like crazy though. i'm looking forward to your suggestions.

Abarth kit is ok but much prefer to go smooooth with the standard shell/bumpers - lower is a must (spring chopping threads have been read and re-read) - raked around for a price for schmidt TH line in 7x13 and 8x 13 - found price - changed underwear - now regularly raking ebay.de for some decent wheels at a decent price - smoors & ATS are ok but common so if anyone has any suggestions on wheels theyd be welcome. not too bothered about turbo/nitrous or even a 1242 conversion as the bog standard 1108 fire is running sweetly - only mod has been a full janspeed system. paintwise i have a voice in my head shouting flames, flames, flames! but mr sensible in the other head is dead against it!

Welcome! I really like Cinqs, the REAL new Mini I think. Low and smooth would be the win. Did someone mention on here that they do a turbo kit for one? Might be worth looking into.

Welcome aboard!
Wheels-wise, you get quite a lot of 4x98 stuff on ebay, a set of Revolutions off an Alfa or something might turn up?

Firkin the cat - a total perv - my hero!
thought about banded steelies - if i went that route they'd have to be chrome! a set of superlites would be ok. 4x98 or 4x100 with wobbly bolts-i'll keep raking the bay. bright paint sounds cool - always had soft spot for that fluo orange like some dyno-rod vans !i've seen - or some 70's airbrushing - serious metalflake! please keep the ideas coming.

Aside from the bad boy bonnet, this is very sweet indeed. Nice wheels/stance, unnecessary kit. Looks good, but 15s are just a bit too big? Yes to Smoors, yes to smooth styling, NO to bad boy bonnet! No, no, no, no , no, no, NO!www.vgs-tuning.com/sgs/pg080.html www.brugtstyling.dk/forum/showcar.php?id=20#

Aside from the bad boy bonnet, this is very sweet indeed. Very cool - this is really what i'm aiming for - my cinq is red tho' - prob have to ease the arches out a bit - I agree bad boy bonnet is a NO - as are the mirrors. nice stance.Nice wheels/stance, unnecessary kit. yep unnecessary kit - i'd much rather take bits off the carLooks good, but 15s are just a bit too big? 13s 13s 13s - bigger aint as good.Yes to Smoors, yes to smooth styling, NO to bad boy bonnet! have seen other pics of this car - it has developed into something even smoother!!!
