welcome to your unique opportunity to own a lovely looking genuine example of Volkswagen's best hot hatch it's more than a head turner more of a head spinner.
6 months tax and 6 months MOT.
Cambelt, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs and new k&n air filte, new lower arms and track rods with ball joints all done 4000 miles ago before we went on a trip round France, 2500miles in a just over a week and the old Golf did not miss a beat.
complete new set of engine mounts and oil and filter service done last week.
-Toad alarm immobilizer; with remote central locking, remote boot pop, see me home light feature and interior light control. (quite a nifty bit of kit on a old car like this)
-electric windows,
-sunroof Doesnt leak and i fitted new cables so its fully functional too
-BBS wheels with a pair of Toyo T1R front tyres that are nearly new, rear tyres are an unpronounceable make but have plenty of tread and grip well
-POWER STEERING always a bonus on these cars
the car has had a few modifications in its lifetime and even with 24 years of use under its roof it goes really well and sounds amazing
exciting mods-
- shrick fast road cams
- lightened and balanced flywheel
-gas flowed cylinder head
- stainless steel exhaust system
-airbox mod (makes a cool noise don't know about any actual power gain from that though)
-coilover kits suspension
less exciting mods
-bits in the engine bay painted red (not to my taste but looks quite cool)
-smoothed boot (boot is released by a button in the car or on the key.)
-couple of wolfsburg accessories in the car (door pins and a single floormat)
- deep dish steering wheel. (again not my taste, but its round and operates the steering effectively
-goodridge braided brake lines and new copper brake lines
-golf G60 wide arches.
brake pads and discs in good condition
tyres all good
slight bubble on the boot lid but generally very little rust,
interior is clean with just a small rip in the drivers seat bolster (fairly common on a old car like this)
The car is fairly tidy for its age bar the front right wing suffering from a small dent at the bottom and the arch a little cracked in the same place, easy fix but it never bothered me enough.

passenger seat is very tidy as are the carpets, dash, rear seats and parcel shelf.
