1983 BMW 316 Carb Not-too-difficult-Project
Important details:
This car is a Cat C. Will need a VIC check to put back on road. For this reason there is no V5 included in sale.
The price is rock-solid firm. It will break into significantly more, and/or is worth significantly more once fixed.
There is NO RUST on this car. Seriously. NO RUST. This is the reason it is offered at all.
It is a 1983 Carb M10 4 cyl engine. It should have a 5 speed manual gearbox in it but the gearbox has been sold. It will come with a 4 speed box and prop which you can swap in at your leisure. Engine believed to be good but as the front is pushed up no attempt has been made to run it. The miles are low.
There is an entire front end clip from another 83 316 in the same colour included. Also there will be a bumper, wing, bonnet etc all included so you will have all you need to put it back together. Welding will be required; it is beyond pulling straight, so the front end will need cut off and the replacement welded in.
Interior is a fetching 70s shade and is in nice condition. Not perfect, but does not necessarily need anything other than a hoover run over it.
Bodywork on the rear end is great. Arches are clean, bumper is straight, bootlid has no flaky edges. It's resting on a decent set of 14" bottletop E30 wheels with decent rubber.
This clean an E21 does not come often and it is for this reason that it is worth fixing the front corner, and this would be much preferable to breaking it, so it has a reprieve for a few weeks in order to give it a chance.
It's located in Dungannon, N. Ireland. It's £1200 no offers whatsoever.
It has a Retro rides sticker in the side windows so someone on here might recognise it?
