Hi All,
I am offering my Landrover Discovery 300tdi for sale here as I am trying my hardest to avoid Ebay and it's associated fees. The Disco is a tidy one, with the 7 seats, towbar and both electric sockets for caravanning (if that's your thing) Certainly it is a good tow vehicle and if you want it to, will run on veg oil/bio-diesel.
It has had a new clutch fitted at the end of last year, the interior is clean and all the buttons and bits appear to work fine, but the fog lamp switch has been replaced by a toggle switch to pass the MOT as the light in the original one didn't work.
I've had a look underneath it and it is surprisingly good in all the usual welding areas. Also the places that usually go but are not MOT failure territory are in good shape, such as the front inner wheel arches.
It is MOT'd until mid March 2015 and taxed till the end of September this year.
Tyres are good, on 4 alloys and the spare is steel.
It does have the twin sunroofs, that under provocation will leak, unfortunately. Not a shower though, more of a drip. It has been suggested that vaseline on the sunroof seals works, but I've not tried it.
The only other low point is the locks, the fob will lock the doors, but then they don't pop fully up with the fob and need the key to push the last few mm. The back door doesn't include itself in the central locking.
It still has the cat in the exhaust, which means there's £100 scrap money available for changing the downpipe and removing the EGR if you want to.
It has been serviced regularly, has garage stamps up to 140k and had oil and filters ever 6000 miles since then. It has just been changed too, so the next one is due at 186k.
Any questions, DM me and I'll send you my mobile number rather than post it on a public forum.
Viewing can be organised most evenings or weekends with a day or so's notice as I work days and the truck is at home. The location for viewing/collection is a village near to Wisbech and Kings Lynn
