Up for sale/swap is my mk1 caddy pickup. It is a solid caddy and does not need any welding. It has been painted in old English White about a year ago by the previous owner and does look really nice. It has also recently had an engine rebuild with many new parts, belts, water pump, tappers, valves, hoses etc. it had a brand new steel bed fitted before it was painted so the bed is absolutely solid! It is quite bumpy to drive but looks great and does get a huge amount of attention.
It also has:
Bbs alloys with 4 new tyres
Coilovers front
Lowered rear axel with drop plates, and blocks to raise it up if need be.
Rear end polybushed
Steering rack replaced and polybushed
New rear wheel bearings
New top mounts
New discs and pads
Cobra bucket seats and harnesses with omp subframes
I have a spare rear window to go with it (clear one), 2 pairs of rear lights, blocks to raise the rear, a pair of ball joints, spare headlight, plus a few other bits.
It is a lovely car but as with all old cars it does has some bad points although nothing major:
The speedo has just stopped working, now I have not investigated as to why but worst case it will need a new cable.
The dash lights do not work, but I do have the replacement bulbs to put in.
The inside is a little tatty and could do with some love/tidying up.
The rear polybushes do squeak and need a little grease.
Paint is going where the body meets the cab, not as bad as it sounds (see photos )
All minor jobs but I just don't have the time now with the new job. Viewing is no problem either at my work place in Tunbridge wells or at home.
I am only selling to buy a more modern diesel car so am very open to px/swaps and offers.
