Trying to sort out an exhaust for the Kadett. I've got a 2.5" stainless system from a civic, which has 1 small round centrebox, and a small oval back box.
There's not alot of room under the car for 2 boxes, but would just a small oval box be far too loud? Bear in mind I'm gonna do a fair bit of track driving etc. I think the rough dimensions of the oval box are 115x185x320mm (Powerflow)
Monza 3.0 24V (think of it as a 2.0 16V with a couple of extra cyl's

Should meet the noise regs for all but the most sensitive tracks on those I'll just declare max rpm to be 5750 (rather than the 7000 that it is!!) as a result you get tested at a lower rpm
the length of the exhaust system does as much silencing as the box(es) themselves. if you have a full length front to rear system with one box id expect it to be fine. if its shorter i.e. side exit, id expect it to be a bit loud....
Spotted OMP systems, 2.5" (one box at the back) designed for cosworth A and N racing ("the FIA Group N noise limit is 98 ±2 db"), I'm thinking of stuffing a holley'd 3.5 V8 through it insteard of cossie, gotta be less horses than cossie so should be fine huh?

Its more the volume than the horses but I'd expect a powerful 2.0 turbo at high revs to flow more than a 3.5 V8 so I'd guess it'd be ok. Besides which they are bigger cos turbos on boost don't need as much back pressure, whereas your NA will, so I would guess it would be fine.
Topi, I have a 2.5" straight through on the Starion, with just one powerflow oval back box, cant remember details but its not so bad.
