Hi guys, I found this languishing at the yard I work at and thought to myself that it needed to be saved.
The car was owned by the yards land-lord, he bought it for the original number plate and had it transferred. It then sat in the yard for around 4 years.
Its a pre-facelift MK3 Orion, absolutely rot free, never welded or even needing any for a
very long time. The usual rot spots are perfect, no rust on arches or around fuel cap.
Sills are rot free as well! Very unusual to find in this condition.
Mileage is a very believable 58000, car has had 2 owners from new.
To get the car back on the road I have had to fit new lower arms, n/s/r wheel bearing and middle and rear exhaust. No other work was needed!
The bumpers have been painted in satin black as the coloured plastic had faded to a rather fetching bright pink/raspberry ripple affect and nothing I tried to
restore the finish worked 
Paint is in good condition, will need a t-cut to bring up the shine. Small dent in drivers door and signs of a previous repair on the o/s/r arch. (from a dent, not rust!)
Passenger door has been modified with the "Basildon touch", Basically some scrote has broken in to it at some point by bending the door top down, not bad but worth mentioning.
Interior is in good condition, drivers door card elbow rest is fine, drivers seat backing has suffered from the sun and has started to peel away from the top.
Mechanically good, no obvious repairs needed and it drives really well.
Also comes with a sunroof wind deflector in body coloured plastic!
All alloys are curb scuff free, all tyres are good.
Selling as I only bought it to save really and just want the money it owes me back. Open to offers.
