I am selling my MK3 golf GTi (8 valve) - £350.
It was my daily driver until recently, but has been replaced by a new beetle and is no longer getting driven much.
It's a 1996, 2 Litre, 8 Valve.
As it's a GTi is has a 5 speed box, discs all round, alloys etc
The car is unmodified, except for the addition of a cd player.

The car is in Calstock, Cornwall (near Plymouth)
Good stuff:
Drives well, and is fairly quick
Electric windows (which both work)
Electric sunroof (which works and doesn't leak)
Power steering
No warning lights on the dash (abs, airbags etc all seem to be ok)
Roof bars included
Returns decent mpg (I used to get about 37 to the gallon on my drive to work according to the computer thing)
CD player that works fine (except for forgetting what track you are on when you stop the car)
Central locking (which also works fine)
Bad stuff:
The bodywork has quite a few rough patches, chips etc
Drivers seat worn through in one place
Exhaust is quite noisy (I replaced it with a pattern one about a year ago, doesn't seem to be as effective as the original)
There is occasionally a "clonk" from the RH rear suspension over potholes - may be a rubber bush on it's way out (?)
Glovebox lid catch broken
headliner saggy in the back
The car is registered in my name, V5 & Mot certificate all present & correct.
