Seth, I've seen that car race a number of times I think, Bernie Chodosh (or something like that) isn't it ?? Yep, 'tis Bernie Chodosh. Surfing the web shows up another early vette he's built and that two or even three sons race with him now? Hmm, wonder what his daughter's doing That dark blue Mk3 Zeph on the wide silver painted steels is pretty much there if you know the one I mean. It needs some bigger gumball tyres and then just the graphics etc. And the side exhaust if its not got one

Like a smaller version,.. like koppak's sled I likes it... has anyone done it? Surely a fairly easy look to achive.. I know that there are a large number of J saloons (and people carriers ) .. done like it, large black steels, lettered tyres, occasional graphics etc. What are the defining points of the look? For a short hand reference? Black Steels + silver centre Race Graphics (but not too many) 2 tone (black roof seems to be common) Oh No!!! I feel a project coming on!!! Let me see? Black steels .....got em! Graphics....its what I do! Just need a car to throw it all at. Just bought a minor last week but I cant see it working on that! Pogweasel.....you bored with that Super Minx yet? ;D I fancied going for a similar look on a minor. Black steels, slammed, with the car painted a slightly patina'd worn Almond green.

I did a pic thread about this a while ago. Had hundred of pics in it. Anyone want to search for it because there were some real corkers in there and I can never find anything when I use the search function on here. Ta!
Title was something like "not all American racing is a straight line"
or somethign like that

I've been sitting on this idea for a while now and i was going to turn it into a reality when i come back from milton keynes next week. My cortina + red oxide + satin black trim + satin black 7x13 minilights with 205x60 tyres + racing numbers. I'm hoping to do it in the week between getting home and the classic ford show and it was going to be top secret. I've got to tell everyone now otherwise it'll look like i just saw this thread and jumped on the bandwagon

To get a standard A40 this low, you'd have to dig a hole to put it in
