Hi Folks, with recent threads of old cars and their history I'm trying to find my old oldsmobile. I bought it at the end of 2001 and sold it in about october 2002. Its a 1979 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale in a two tone light yellow upper and white lower. Originally bronze (and still was inside engine bay etc) Reg is Q217LPP and its the 301 ci V8 pontiac engine that was an option for that year. It was last seen at the end of 2002 for sale at the billing Nats about 2 weeks after id sold it. I've checked the DVLA website and i don't think its been taxed since i sold it. Anyone any info at all? its a bit rough but id like to see and possibly own it again.  |

to be honest i don't remember his name no.
If its any help i don't think he lived too far away from me in northants, probably about an hour away, bedford rings a bell but I cant be sure now.

Look on the banger photo websites. Sorry but I don't see anyone storing such a large and commercially undesirable car for 5 years. Also the engine can be flogged on "yeah, Pontiac lump, reckon its a 350 or a 400 mate, out of a big car, bound to be a big lump, innit" and the shell raced. I'df love to be wrong but a while agho I was trying to find such a car as this as a cheap blaster and sod me where have they all gone? Ah, the dirt oval...
