Hello all, been really busy of late (non car related stuff) anyone know anything about old stylee VW LT28s and LT35s? I'm finding it difficult to find info on any of them! Are parts still available? Does the UKs stock of the aformentioned vans reside in east london (petticoat lane)? Are they rust prone?
Cheers
Russ

They are quite liked by the hippy types that live in and around totnes/dartington area (Its like woodstock in south devon ) Anyway there areseveral knocking around where I work and they all seem in quite good condition, so I guess they are fairly rust resistant. Sorry that my only input

I would say only that I almost shelled out £1250 for a 45k miler schoolbus one, but realised I could not park it safely here where I live.
Find one, and get it.

Of absolutely no constructive help, but check out www.lt4x4.de for some LT porn. My mate in Devon has got one and I had to drive it last year to Vanfest for him, it rocks the fat one and would be my choice of home on wheels... An LT that is.

Defo scene tax exempt at the mo. I would have thought what with T25 being scene taxed everyone would have jumped on the LT bandwagon, but it got bypassed straight for the T4 it seems. I love these big old heaps. Oh, and proof they're scene tax exempt - Free LT28 on VZi
