ive been waiting for the 'right' wheels for it for quite a while, and ive just won a set of these in 5x114, so a set of wobble bolts will see em on the yellow stacklight ;D 6.5x15 fronts and 7.5x15 rears so ile put some tyres with just a smidge of stretch on em, they're currently silver but will be refinished gloss black with polished rims and sprint hart lettering in white or red. itll also get bolt on arch flares if it needs them, but I don't think it will. it only needed the rear lower 1/4s repairing a replacment alternator fitting, and a new exhaust to re-mot, and this has finally given me the motivation to do it. itll then get the seats swopped for the mint set ive accuired, and a lower half respray. then ile either sell it or run it, ive not decided yet. the car in question- its about time it was back on the road!

Nice rims! Definitely something different. What were they originally for? I've never come across 5x114... something Japanese?

5x114.3 is a J fitment, metric equivelent of 5x4.5" US ford cos the japs thiefed the bolt pattern way back.
it will end up a touch lower, gotta keep some sidewall height though, for a couple of reasons, one to keep the gear ratio usable, and secondly so it fills the arches ok.

Iiiiinteresting... opens up a few more rim options then, with the aid of wobble bolts! Cool ;D

Cool ;D it gives you at least 5000 times more wheel choice. torque thrusts, cragars, centrelines, slots form the american market, then many different JDM split rims with crazy offsets...advan, mugen, sprint hart/race hart, gab, blitz, etc.

I think they'll look fine and dandy, but why the lettering?

I like the Porker alloys it's got in this pic'. They're so wrong it's right. Not that keen on the new ones though to be honest.

the letterings what they come with, i quite like it in a rally/race esque kinda way. the car will be shiny-ish to match soon the porsche wheels, were franky, curse word. they were well bashed, wouldnt balance up, leaked and were generally poor quality. so i sold em on cheap and was looking for a better quality replacement to change the style of it a bit
