	Hey all I have a discovery chassis with a great 200tdi in it, it's been lowered on the rear and had planned on lowering the front at somepoint. The body was too rust to be saved so it's basssically just front bulkhead and cab renaming. I've just seen this and I'm tempted to keep the landy and build something similar in the future! (I love hot rods and want a camper.....) So what's the law on rear overhang?! Fitting a caravan to the rear of the chassis and extending would make it quite long! Haha

	Hi, the maximum overhang is 60% of the wheelbase. In the case of your Disco which has a 100" wheel base you can have 60" or 5foot from the centre of the rear wheel. Be aware if you pull away from the kerb on full lock the back end will go 18" over the pavement, so watch out for stray nuns!! 	Also the amount of weight on the rear axle will come into it, especially if you hang a dirt bike off a rack on the back or have anything heavy back there.

	Knew there were ratios online somewhere but didn't know where to look! Thanks guys It's a heavy old lump in the front so not sure what the weight distribution would be like!
