its time for it to go had the car over 9 years its finshed and just never use it so its up for sale
ford capri 2.8i fully restored the car was striped to a bare shell put on a roll over jig all underseal removed then had a new front panel strut tops wings a posts inner and outta sills most of the floor pair of mint doors bonnet and boot hatch all done to very high standard to look at the car it looks factory done took 2 years of welding and preping
then it was send off to be resparyed it used to grey over sliver but i allways wanted a black 2.8i so was resparyed black i sort of regreat that now but does look great in black
i then spent next 4 years painted up parts and slowly building it back up had new front bilsten coil overs all new bushes new leaf springs recon rack recon brakes all new brake pipes full ashley exhuast and manifolds set of brooklands alloy wheels x frame handling kit and so on
engine was striped down and checked over its got a vulcan stage 2 engine putting out 180 bhp at the rear wheels around 230 at the fly wheel its one very fast 2.8i capri the car was used for racing in the late 80s and early 90s and did very well from what history i could find it was sold by afordable classics in late 90s when i found the car is a bit of a sorry state i rang them as sticker was in the rear window he knew the car well and said its one of the best capris hes ever driven set up was great and power was amazing
anyway was built back up with new gaskets new water pump and so on the engine was in a1 conditon i just wanted to check everything over while it was out
its also got a uprated lsd diff the guys at fosteck saids its got a motorsport lsd diff in it
its got a recon fuel tank with new fuel pump
inside is shark grey recaros with rs motorsport steering wheel plus got the orignal parcel shelf and uncracked dash top
over all has be one of the best capris out there i feel ive spent a fortune on it and wanted it to be just right
its only for sale as i never have time to use it and cant keep it at home i live right on the sea front with no garage so just stays at my works with a cover over it
and feel i should buy something i can use more daily

price wise £6000ono this car can only go up in value its got 10 months mot and 4 months tax I'm in billingham teesside
