Hi guys, i was wondering if someone could give me some books or website that would be good for me to read up on
backhalving cars building chassis for drag racing hot rodding metal work
i'm sure you can read into what it is i am after, anything a long those lines that really, chassis building, and hot rod stuff like channeling and all that.
no major plan behind it, just want to expand my knowledge some.
cheers

you want a book called Doorslammers. Go to www.chassisshop.com, and you can buy it from there. I'm pretty thats the book that a lot of the UK chassis builders recommend, and i know a few buy stuff from Chassis Shop

metal fabricators handbook by ron fournier is a good one for metal pounding/shaping/welding. by back halving, do you mean axle swap and arch tubbing? if so this'll probably be in a chassis book like the one keefy suggests, or a combination of books. theres a neat 2 part article on axle narrowing in issues 5+6 (6 isn't out till next month tho) of britchopper magazine.
