This Escort started life as a 1.3 bonus but has since had a silver top 2l zetec put in.

2l Zetec Silvertop on 79k - recently rebuilt with new water pump, head gasket, skimmed head, ported, polished lightened and balance and new belts
retains 1.3 gearbox

New electric fan with override switch
Pinto inlet with adaptor plate
Push start button
Full SS ERST exhaust
Outwardly rolled exhaust tip and back ERST back box
Aftermarket fuel pump

there's more stuff but I'm not to sure what else was done.
basically. I bought this for my girlfriend. It was a fully stripped out track car and i think it would be better to just have an xr3i instead of putting this back to stock. I have started to put things back in ( Carpet, Seats, parcel shelf etc)
it has mot untill late oct and currently no tax.. I can tax it... Log book is present.
new belts and recent hg change after i found a piece of a tool in cylinder two. Head was repaired and all is back together.
just put a new water pump in.
engine has already been freshly rebuilt and has no miles on it.
shell is tatty but solid after i got some parts welded up properly using original ford panels - there are no keys, its on a push button start It is a working project - to make it a decent daily I would suggest getting a Escort key set off ebay and perhaps getting the carb set up. I test drove it and with the 4 speed box it is very quick
