Hi all
I'm trying to find a way of restoring my seats, they're some s**tty vinyl material. I found this vinyl spray online but the tins are tiny, and it works out quite expensive. Over 100 quid to do just the seats, not the door panels
does anyone know of anything I can do that's cheaper? I know you can get full interior replacement cover kits, but they're over 500 quid!

Do you have access to a sewing machine? I re-trimmed a couple of Recaros a few years back, cut out the stitches to separate all the parts, used them as templates to cut out of new vinyl (from local upholstery shop) and sewed them all together. They're just faded n worn out. Plus I want a different colour really. A nice cream  I would look at making my own but I broke my sewing machine making a skirt for an RC leaf blower hovercraft Haha plus I don't just my EXPERT craftsman skills! |

I have done some just using aerosole car paint keep out in the open for a few days or you will gas yourself if you put them in the car to soon

Really?! How well is it lasting?  ? I found the purpose spray i bought to start rubbing off a bit... Alright if you're just restoring the colour, but not when I'm trying to change colour! Haha this car is going to be my daily so the seats array going to see their fair share of work |
