	Evening. I`ve recently imported an old Fiat 500 from Italy, and seem to be struggling a bit with the confusion of getting it registered. I`m in the process of getting it through an MOT, which I believe needs to be done prior to registration. However, It also looks like I`ll need to get a NOVA certificate. These are new to me, and seem a bit awkward to obtain one! Going through the online process is a bit of a mine field it seems; or is that just me? Once I have the NOVA certificate, I think I can just take this along to my local DVLA office with insurance certificate and MOT, fill in a few forms, pay the cash and away I go. I`m sure there`ll be someone on here who has been through this recently, who could maybe point me in the right direction. Any help appreciated guys.

	Can't help with the nova form but can say that you won't be taking it to the local dvla office as they no longer exist. You will need to send it all via Swansea and all I can say about that is good luck!

	Do you have the Italian log book as that will make things a lot easier to register in UK

I was sure I went there just a couple of months ago to apply for a new log book for a truck. It appears that was last October! Sheffield tax office closed about 2 weeks after I went. Hmmmm, so I`m going to have to deal with Swansea then, which doesn`t fill me with confidence!

I`ve been on the phone to the DVLA this morning, and they make it sound pretty simple. It`s just the NOVA form i`ve never dealt with before. I`m thinking it probably is pretty straight forward now, just fear of the unknown.
