	Can anyone Help pls i have a multiple sata drive pc. last week it wouldn't book up. I pulled all the drives and started it up with the C: drive, success. I tested all drives in an external dock and found 1 isn't recognised by the PC. On further investigation the drive in question can be seen in the bios in boot options (when installed in the PC) it can also be seen in windows in safe mode, but just as a drive letter, you can't access it.if you try the PC just becomes unresponsive. Now here's the problem, I gave a good few years of documents from work on there, that I would like back. Anyone recommend a wash/software to get it or maybe a company that can do it thanks scaff

	Have you tried a different external dock, some of them don't like certain makes of drive? Ideally you need to make a clone of your existing drive and try recovering the data from the new clone so as not to risk loosing more from the original

	Have you tried changing the drive letter? try doing a disk check or as stated above try another caddy, in work I have 3 caddys and an internal caddy, just as they can be incompatible, if you get to the stage where you need to get data off, just take it to a professional, most of the time these data restorer software restores data but its corrupt and unreadable.
