Hi Guys
I am posting this up for a family friend because he simply hasn't got a clue who might be interested or what it is worth.
I've done some asking of various hexperts & of course I immediately suggested I take some pictures and pop it on here.
So, this is his 1979 BMW 635 Csi (not CSL!) sharknose.
It is a really lovely car, with the makings of a superb project. Had I not just bought a 911 TT I would be all over this like Lindsay Lohan on fairy dust.
The car is up for sale as £3250 as she is right now on standard plate, or with the private plate RAD635 at £5,750 (plate being valued at £2500 by owner).
Prices reflect the car as she is - on bits she is worth more but that would be such a shame!

Car Details
1979 635 Csi
RAD635 plate!
3 owners - present owner has owned her since 1986.
Very good / big history file and loads of old Mots etc.
Runs and drives well!
Grey, 3 door tin top (very rare)
Black leather interior
running a 6 cylinder 3.5L
Manual dog-leg gearbox (again not standard factory option)
Tax August 2014
MOt March 2015
119k on clock
4 x Alpina Wheels
Chrome wing mirrors and door runners.
Condition / bad bits / Work required
As with most of these old beamers she has a bit of rust in the bottom of the door sills and she has had the odd little tiny knock.
I would say as an independent person she is 7/10 condition throughout - body work 90% straight.
I have not got her on a ramp but i know the rear carpets get a bit damp (so assume rust underneath somewhere!)
At some point in her life she has had a respray from blue to Grey. Its still pretty nice and the chrome is really very nice.
Again I understand she had a new engine at some point in her life (mileage is genuine and verifiable from MOts)
Older 635 so (correct me if i'm wrong) but one an e12 chassis - slightly more prone to rust.
Needs 4 new tyres as the ones one are curse word - almost illegal.
Driver's window will not go down at the moment!
So that's about it. Obviously I highly recommend viewing (near Kingsbridge in Devon or possibly Totnes) - please assume she requires at least a fair bit of work so as to avoid disappointment.
Questions and queries welcome - by text pls as I'm not on here that often at the moment.
