A rare opportunity to buy what was once the most expensive production car in the world.
There were only 5159 Diamond Jubilee Edition cars built to celebrate Ford’s 75th year in the automotive world. Of these, 2557 were finished in Jubilee Gold, and the other 2602 finished in Diamond Blue. To have two parked next to each other is a very rare occurrence these days, particularly in Europe!
If you are looking at this advert, then you probably already know something about these cars. However, there is more info on this Wikipedia link:

And an informative piece about the Diamond Jubilee special edition here:

“Lincoln said that the Diamond Jubilee Edition was the most luxurious Lincoln ever produced, and in many ways, that statement still stands true today. Even more than 30 years later, it's difficult to find a more comfortable car for a long road trip”
Both cars are available for sale, although it would be preferred if they were sold as a pair, as of course parts for the Jubilee edition are becoming hard to find now. Although the second car is certainly not beyond putting back on the road, it does also provide an almost complete set of spares for the other.
First Car (EMV 167T)
Car one is in good running condition, has MOT until 15/07/15 and is taxed until 31/01/15.
It is mechanically spot on, and has only covered 41,500 miles! (This will increase slightly as the car is in regular use). Everything works as it should, and no expense has been spared in the maintenance. The 7.5 litre v8 engine is silky smooth, the gearbox changes perfectly, and it is quiet and refined. Even the air-con blows ice cold.
The interior is clean and complete, the only minor point being a small area of wear on the back rest of the drivers’ seat. This is no more than a couple of inches long, and could no doubt be easily repaired. Interestingly, both cars have the rare optional “Power Glass Moonroof”, which was one of very few options available.
As for the exterior, it is generally in good clean condition and is free of dents. There are some small areas of surface rust here and there. The paint is also not the best in places, particularly on the front wings, but overall it is certainly very presentable, and very imposing! The underside of the car is solid, and it has never had any welding, nor is it likely to require any in the foreseeable future.
The rare cast aluminium wheels are in good shape, all four tyres have loads of tread and are all in great condition.

Second Car (PGO 598V)
This was purchased complete and running, but as a spares car, and it is considered that for the purpose of this sale. However, it is certainly not beyond putting back on the road. It is mechanically and structurally very good. The engine starts on the button, and runs through rather louder exhausts than the other car. It sounds fantastic! It moves around the drive no problem, and slides between drive, neutral and reverse without complaint. It’s obviously not been out on the road recently, but the gearbox was fine when purchased, so no reason that it won’t be now.
This car is about 95% complete, but it is only a few interior parts that have been removed, such as the headlining and door cards. It has the common mk5 problem with the steering column, as you can see by the ‘modification’ in the pictures .The seats could do with a good clean, and presumably it would need some brake work, as it has been sitting for a couple of years. There is a little more rust on the edges than the other car, but it still actually very straight and very presentable. Like the first car, it is solid underneath.
As per the other car, the cast aluminium wheels are also in good condition along with the tyres.

Other info
The cars are located approximately 5 miles west of Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, UK. Viewing is possible by appointment and is of course highly recommended. Now that the good weather is here, the road legal car is back in use, and being enjoyed as it should.
It would be preferred if both cars were purchased as a package. Obviously whilst one car can be driven away, the other will need to be taken on a large trailer, or preferably low loader.
Offers invited around £12,950 for the first car and £4,950 for the spares car, however a deal could certainly be struck for both.
Please call Pat on 01986 896656 with any questions or to arrange a viewing.
European interest is certainly welcome and it would make for a fantastic road trip home should a buyer be found further afield!
