My mum wanted a bike, the neighbour gave her this. It hasn't been used in years as the back wheel is buckled and they couldn't find a tyre to fit. Anyway, I thought it looked kinda cool. Any ideas what model it is and is it worth spending money on?

depends on the wheel size really, I've come across some similar bikes at work where I really couldn't get any tyres for them, though with the fairly long slots in the calipers you may be able to get a more widely used size in there, for example 26 x 1"3/8, they'll only be a few mm different in radius but enough for the tyres not to fit.

I got the wife a very similar bike (same colour too) from one of those recycley bike places a few years ago
she found it a bit heavy but I thought it was pretty decent
always worth saving something I'd say (I'm just starting on a Raleigh pursuit 80s racer for myself)
