Went on a mini road trip today, only 80 mile roundtrip but plenty to see and do..... Took the camper off for a service with an air-cooled mechanic, its been a pain to start the last few days and just needed a bit of attention, so with Kim in the hotseat and me in the Merc we headed over to the workshop... Where we met the yard dog (every workshop has one, its the law isn't it?) We left the van there to be collected later, kept company by a few other Dubs ;D

We headed for the first pick up, a fibreglass bonnet for Street from the forum, a blast down the M3 and through Sunbury and we arrived, spied a few Lambos on route including a pair of Countachs, with the bonnet loaded up... ...and made for pickup number two, passing Brooklands it became obvious that the Italian car day was on, another trio of Countachs and a few Lancias came the other way (all missing the lens though )we did spy this little lot though. Tasteful Uno Turbo Clean MGB Wiesmann GT Coupe Alfa SZ Popped into to see my brother and collect my freebie 14" wheel and new tyre as a spare for the Golf, total cost £5 to have it fitted and balanced ;D Off to get the Camper in a bit then I have to find a safe spot for the bonnet until collection

I'm loving that T3, oooof! Some nice spots too, Uno Turbo is a rare sight, and even rarer in tastefully modified form. Now I love Garfield as much as the next man but, well, think I may need to paint that bonnet, lol! Quick question, is it a single skinned one or has it got some frimework on the inside?

think its single skinned that guard dog was so soppy, we opened the gate to get in and it scurried off into a barn, then came skulking back to sniff around the van ;D Wiesmann info here
