I have been looking for a low mileage, rust free mk3 cavalier for a while. All I could find was rusty, high mileage or base models. Then I came across this beauty.
I bought this cavalier about 6 months ago,
I drive it every now and then, usually on weekends and let me tell you it drives excellent.
There are no knocks, clunks, bangs or whining noises
It has plenty of power when you need put your foot down to over take or get out of tricky situations and can easily keep up with the modern equivalent.
The interior can only be described as mint as you would expect from a very low mileage car and it is very comfortable.
The body work is in really good condition with only a few imperfections. (Which car doesn't have them)
It must have been garaged most of it life as the rear arches and sills are original and rust free.
It's still shines up very well and looks very good for a 20 year old car.
My intention was to keep it as a weekend car, smarten it up and touch up the imperfections and I'll have a mint very low mileage, original mk3 cavalier with good spec.
Now 6 month down the line I'v done the following to cavalier.
Lowered it with brand new lowering springs. (Sits nicely and doesn't scrape over speed bumps)
Fitted a set of very cool mint black powder coated 17" OZ Polaris alloy wheels with excellent tyres. (Sets the car off nicely)
Fitted clear side repeaters. (Looks cleaner)
Fitted a pair of metal number plates. (Nice touch)
Fitted a CD player.
The only thing left to make it mint is to touch up the imperfections to the body work which are, a few scuffs, small amount of surface rust on bottom of drivers wing, small touch up required to drivers door top. It still looks very good as it is. (See photos)
Mileage once again is only 30955. That's thirty thousand nine hundred and fifty five miles.
I have 13 MOT's to back up the mileage.
It has just past it's MOT today so now comes with nearly 13 months MOT.
