I took some more pics of her last week with the new rig after having the Bonnet and a few minor blemishes repaired at firefly. They did a great job! Edited by NJ-P, on Flickr Edited2 by NJ-P, on Flickr I've decided I'm going to stick with the M10B18 for the time being, plans are a new manifold for the carbs and hopefully get the engine bay painted and a wire tuck before June. Anybody with any spare M10 parts (engine, loom, aftermarket ex manifold) please let me know. Thanks for looking!

I've not updated this for a while and quite a bit has changed. Me and the Mrs got married in July and prior to this the decision was made (mostly by me that the e28 would be our wedding car. This is the only retro I've owned that she actually likes and it's become part of the family. Having it as our wedding car worked out a great decision because it gave me a massive kick up the rear end to get it looking mint and buy a few things I'd been lusting over for quite a while. Over a couple of months I managed to get quite a lot sorted. I got hold of my dream wheels.. Staggered BBS Style 5's (RC009 and 10's) from an 8 series. These wheels were in very poor condition, lots of corrosion and all the bolts were red raw rusty. I split the wheels down and had the barrels polished and the centres painted with plenty of metallic and lacquer. When the barrels came back I painted the insides satin black. While the centres were away being painted I ordered new bolts and centre caps. I hope you like... I do Next up was a tidy up of a few things that had been getting on my nerves. The boot had a dodgy seal so that had surface rust and needed sorting. From this.. To this.. I also blasted the wiper arms and had them painted gloss black. The front headlamp and bonnets grilles were also painted gloss black. I had the mirrors colour coded and the sunroof, fuel flap and and a couple of other things repainted. After all the that the wedding was getting really close! I'd started panicking and a good mate of mine, John was lending a hand to get the car detailed whilst I was throwing all the bits I could on. I got hold of new front and rear chrome window trims and fitted them, made a massive difference as the old ones had gone brittle and white. Next up was the alpina (esque) splitter. After that I was on the home straight, that's when John did his thing. The paint on the e28 is in really good nick anyway but John made it look like a new one! This guy is a wizard. the only picture I have after that is on the actual day of our wedding which tells a story in itself, it was a bit of a graft but all was done and in time! Since then (July) it's done less than 200 miles and had a pitman arm for MOT. Oh and some more photographs. Thanks for looking!

Cheers mate, happy with it now. Just with any car of this age it seems to grow a new scab every time I pull it out of the garage!
