It's with heavy heart that I put this up for sale because I really like this car.
I've got hold of a diesel 18 GTD recently though so this isn't being used, though the bodywork is in far better condition on this petrol, the diesel engine suits me more as I do a bit of commuting.
The car is painted matte black, with a roller, the original paint was knackered.
It has 11 months mot and 5 months tax
Bad Points -
Windscreen has a crack in the lower corner, they are still produced new, though it doesn't seem to be getting worse.
An inner cv joint is making a bit of a noise, though I have a spare driveshaft with a knackered outer cv to go with the car, so logic says you should be able to combine them to make a good one.
Sunroof seal is siliconed as it was leaking.
A jacking point will need welding for the next mot, I've already spent a lot of time welding the other side of the car.
Gearbox a bit whiny (my diesel is the same though)

90000 miles and the 1647cc engine still runs sweet as a nut.
Body is largely rust free which is very rare for a Renault of such vintage.
Two coils cut out the front and one out the rear, though it could do with another out the rear to even it out.
Interior is almost mint apart from a small fag burn on the drivers seat, needs a clean though.
Everything works, electric windows, central locking, even the econometer.
It's had all 4 wheel bearings changed within the past 2 months.
It's also had the carb rebuilt with a weber kit.
Would swap for another retro, anything, but a tax free project would be nice.
Otherwise £650 cash, car is located in perthshire, scotland.
