Excellent great he brought it back for more mods, does that rule out future use of a rear seat? just thinking ahead for my sierra, bet that will flex!

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

Hrm, I never thought about this until you made this thread. My coupe will be running pretty stiff suspension when it gets going and I'd like to make sure that the suspension mounts are not going to break!
Would you expect me to encounter a similar problem with upright shocks rather than the angled ones? I do have a 1/2 cage but might I benefit from a cross brace welded between the shock towers?

it is posable and it wouldn't hurt to add a brace . the problem with the kadett was not so much the stiff shocks on their own but the position of the top arm mounts on the five link , because they were mounted to the floor they started to fracture due to movement in the shell with the brace and the fact they are now mounted of of the brace this has now eliminated the problem but i was very surprised at how much better the shell is from having the brace fitted

Deadly looking little car, remember the retro cars feature..................
I'm selling the GT6 but if i was keeping it this would be a great modification as its got an awful amount of flex in the rear end. Fair play, yet another great car/great bit of work from the Nightmaresracing garage of dreams!!

I kicked it's ass though ;D just finished off the mods to the suspension tonight , running it down for it mot in the morning then it should be ready for another years driving . there are alot more mods in the pipeline so ya might not be able to kick it ass for to much longer ;D ;D it is a realy good quick street car but due to it not having an intercooler at the mo it does suffer with high intake temps which shows on the track but it is a seriously fun car to drive I always wanted to take it on a track day as I think thats where it would be at its best heres a little clip from the other weekend of it at shakey he was taking it easy on the start due to the broken suspension mount smg.photobucket.com/albums/v333/nightmaresracing/?action=view¤t=100_3660.flv
