I'm looking at buy an old ford p100 pick up so I can put my motorbikes on the back and travel to tracks etc and play.
cant seem to find a specific area to where I can get advice specifically on the p100
so any advice or knowledge on them I would appreciate!
I'm not bothered weather it's a cortina or Sierra based p100 and iv not set a budget yet either

Rust is main issue on these and just make sure everything works as it should mate ,parts are easily got and lots of bits swapped from other sierra or cortina s Don't forget most have been used as a workhorse at some point in there life

Dunno what the dimensions are but I've seen photos of a south coast chopper builder who uses one to move bikes around in and he seems to run with the tailgate open and the back wheels of bikes pretty much on the edge of the bed, but not on the tailgate. Not sure if he's got a toolchest or something up front that limits space?
He looks to have a neat rack fitted that lets him clamp the bikes in and padlock them in place.

Hello Mate, p100"s are brilliant, Iv got one (sierra shape) and it has done everything, most sierra parts swop including doors, if you want sizes I can give you them tomorrow if you are still after them but I can get a Z1000 and a CB900 in the back of mine with the tailgate closed. Its one of the best things iv ever had, not fast and not new so expect to do maintainance.

Could I trouble you for the measurement that would be fantastic.
I will be getting another motor cross bike. But also I have an SV650 and my girlfriend has GSXR600 I think they should fit ok then. How do you get yours up?
As for speed pfffft it's about looking cool ... Who needs speed.
Servicing no dramas I can do all that good stuff!
Could I also trouble you with a picture!
I cannot wait to get my P100
Many thanks
