I have 'found' a 1962 Land Rover that looks in remarkably good nick for age. Its very original and a fixed head 90 chasis.
The car had tax and MOT up until Feb 2014, so i guess that its roadworthy.
Its parked at an old garage close to my home. The garage doesnt open any more and the telephone number on the signs is dead. I tried researching on the interweb thingy and the owner of the garage was quite elderly in 2009.
Any ideas what I should offer for the car? Guide prices in good, mid and bad conditon would be good.
How can i take ownership of the vehicle if i cant get hold of the owner? I have heard that you can speak to the DVLA (groan).
Thanks
