In a fit of boredom at work on Monday i replied to a wanted ad for a '72 chevelle convertible. I like it when it's like this But less so when it does this. I've had it for nearly two years and sort of fancy a change. So is it time to sell it on and get a new toy or keep it? And what would i replace it with if i did sell it?

I was gonna say, replace with what? if you don't need the money, working out what you want is the next thing.

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

What would you get as a replacement, you don't seem to like any other cars?

Yes, if you’ve got the opportunity to sell and it’s not something you feel you must keep forever then why not?
What to replace it with? Hmmmm. Honda Accord?
I fear suggesting a new car for you could be rather tricky…

I'd say keep it - at least until you know what to replace it with - another Yank or something else? P.S. Do you a straight swap for a Rover 75!!!!

sadly (or luckily depending on how you look at it) we don't get the same money over here as the aybnks do. A lot of good muscle cars have recently gone back home to the US, also many have gone to Sweden and Germany where there seems to be a lot more disposable income to drop on a high-value "toy" car. And the Scandanavians in general do go mad for drag racing and the big ol V8 stuff.
Thats where the money is.

I think some people have taken my 'I don't like it' as me actually not liking things. rather than the poor attempt at humour it was/is.
