hi, I'm thinking of selling my Renault 19, ive owned it for around 8 mth and brought it back from the brink of death. I got it of a bloke who had it stored for 10yrs in a shed/garage, when I got it it didn't run and was in quite bad condition cosmetically. so I trailered it home and put it on my drive and began reviving it, first I stripped the entire interior, sewed the tears in the seats, wet vac'd everywhere and everything made of fabric, cleaned all the plastics and then rebuilt it all which made it near perfect inside, I then took the engine out and fitted a 106k clio 16v engine I had stored in my shed with new cambelt kit, water pump and head gasket fitted 2k ago, fitted a new fuel pump and rad and it started straight up and runs sweet as, cleaned all the bay out...THEN as the engine was now running I sadly found out the bendix abs system was shot and very dangerous so I had to take the engine back out and sort the brakes out which was a major job I had to rip out all the abs system and loom, remove the brake pedal and box then fit a new brake pedal, servo, master cylinder and two new brake pipes so it now has a standard non abs brake setup..... whilst the engine was out I removed the sub frame and welded some new plates onto it as it was looking a bit thin, then rebuilt the lot again. udersealed all underneath and I looks like new no rot or corrosion that I could see. replaced some worn/broken parts as followed - two front wheel bearings, front discs, front pads, rear pads and two front coil springs. fitted a new lock set as last owner lost the key and had to break the steering lock etc so sorted all that out too. cleaned the bodywork up and then gave up lol its a lovely looking car and drives really nice, I took it for an m.o.t to see what happens and it passed so has 12mth m.o.t, everything works except the sunroof, the n/s e/w switch and the digital clock. its completely standard inc floor mats and mud guards even has standard exhaust on in good condition. look at the pics it speaks for itself just wants touching up here and there as I'm not a fan of bodywork small rust around vent on bonnet. actual mileage of car is 138k, full log book and 12mth m.o.t. based in Nottingham.
I would like offers to see what happens as ive no real sense of what its worth may swap something why.
thanks for looking. p.s that's not lacquer peel on bonnet its the reflection of the clouds

I'm not after one of these but i would like to declare a big fat 'NICE WORK' for your efforts. I reckon you should ask for £1200 or so.

Very very nice is that, I own a 19 TSE already and would love this if I could, made Renault Owners' Club aware of it and it's got some admirers, GLWTS.
