This car has been my pride and joy and my every-day car, and has been maintained regardless of cost
11 months MOT
Tax until November
This is the 6 cylinder 2.8 M30 engine, and pulls like a train, it is a joy to drive
Very strong Auto box - very refined and smooth for its time, and reasonably economical for a car of its size, 2000 rpm at 70 mph so a nice quiet cruiser - I have taken it on long journeys and it has never missed a beat
Cruise control (as rare as hen's teeth on one of these!)
Fully functioning OBC
4x electric windows (all working as they should)
electric sunroof (no leaks!)
M-tech bootlid spoiler and leather steering wheel
Remote central locking with modern type bmw remote key (e46 type)
Genuine AC schnitzer wheels with decent uniroyal tyres with lots of tread (not to everybody's taste, but worth a lot of money - original wheels and tyres will be included in sale)
In very good condition throughout - it gets compliments everywhere I take it - turns a lot of heads!
New front stainless brake hoses
New front calipers
New genuine bmw fuel lines front-to-back
6x New bosch injectors and seals
New pitman arm bushes
New Monroe Gasmatic front shocks
New springs all round (lowered slightly, but not too much to be impractical. It is an SE model, so sat a bit high originally)
Recently serviced - including new plugs, HT leads, dist. cap and rotor arm
The only thing that doesn't work on the car is the headlight wipers, I traced the fault to lie with the motors, which are a simple, well documented job to rebuild, but unfortunately I have not had the time
This car is easily in good enough condition to show - not concourse, but in very nice condition having had a recent respray to a very high standard
The wheels ideally want refurbing as they have been repainted in black before I got them, and on 2 of the wheels, it seems to be flaking off. It would probably be possible to scrape this black coat off to reveal the original silver beneath - again, something I never had the time to do, but the original wheels are in reasonable condition anyway
