Ok so lack of time due to the burden of work and lack of finances due to impending wedding means I have had to decide to let my midget project go.
It is a 1976 R reg although the new owner will have to apply for the V5 as the guy I bought it off never sent it.
Basically I bought it and the old shell was ROTTEN so I decided to resell it, I found a semi decent round arch shell so snapped that up, it has had welding and will need some more but the inner wings, a pillars, floor Pam's are solid. It needs some attention around the boot and one of the sills had been shoddily welded and filled.
1.5 engine is there, and ran before removal, good compression just needs the carbs setting up properly.
I have all body panels, although removed they are all present and anything rusted beyond repair a replace ton has been sourced.
It has wire wheels with knock on hub bolts, full set of 5 wheels
No soft top but it does have a hard top but will need attention
There are many many boxes of bits with it, like I said it was bought as a full car and although some parts need replacing it is all there bad or good
I kept the chassis plate off the old shell so reg of STA 13R can be transferred to new shell
Be gutted to see it go but the money will pay for my kilt hire for the wedding.
Buyer will need a trailer and lots of boot space
