Legendary Mercedes ride quality.
Here we have a 1999 S registration, w202 chassis c250 turbodiesel in white. Although suffering a few minor grazes, this car is a solid vehicle ready to give many years of reliability to the new owner. Equipped with remote central locking, 5 speed manual gearbox.
SRS and airbags.
Cloth interior featuring a rear armrest with cup holders and folding rear seats.
16" alloys wrapped in continental tyres
Full size spare.
Full electric windows. Service undertook at last MOT.
Mileage is low for one of these at 140k.
I have another c250 as my personal car for the past 3 years and I can assure you these cars will do in excess of 250,000 miles whilst maintaining comfort , economy and reliability. The car has had a new steering rack and balljoints fitted just under a year ago.
150bhp from the 5 cylinder om605 under the bonnet means that these mercs shift when you need them to, the taxi lock enables easy manoeuvrability around town, better than some much smaller cars.
This car is ideal for anyone after an appreciating classic ( have a look for a roadworthy 190e diesel for less than a grand!), a comfortable daily driver or just something nippy and rwd that costs buttons to run, repair and insure.
If I didn't own another Id be keeping this, a true future classic.
The bad:
Car could benefit from a glow plug replacing but it's not really necessary in the weather were having now.
Awaiting logbook, have a few previous mots and such though.
Previous owner was a mechanic so whilst the car is mechanically sound, the interior could do with a decent valet (mainly drivers seat)
May be good for export, drifting?
Id like somewhere in the region of £750, anyone who knows these cars should be able to testify that its a bargain!
