I'm José Carlos and I live in Portugal.
I don't know if I'm introducing my self in the right spot.
I'm also planing to build a track car based on a Mercedes W201 190E 2.6. To do so I'm planing to use a M104 3.2 engine that comes from a W124 320E. One of my questions is more in terms of practicality and low budget and it's about the gearbox. The 2.6 comes with a 5 speed manual gearbox, and the 320E comes with a getrag.
One thing I do know, is that I should use an LSD, so I don't loose much traction. I heard about the LSD that comes with the 2.3-16, but to be honest I still don't know which one to use.
In terms of suspension I read both theories, about coilovers, and H&R springs with Kony ajustable shocks. But I really don't know what is better.
If anyone here can give me advises about how I should make my project, I'll thank very much.
