I recently bought this car so i could take my other Panda Selecta off the road, but this car has lost drive so is up for sale as a project. Would also be ideal for a manual conversion.
The car is rust free apart from a small scab on the passenger rear arch.
It had mot until the 16th of April, and 5 months tax.
The interior is spotless, the engine runs perfectly and felt very nippy before the gearbox gave up. I also have a pair of rear trims as the old ones have been cut for speakers.
Underneath the car is also in very good order with the only rust seen being a bit of flaking of the petrol tank strap. The car looks like it's never been welded.
The passenger door/rear panel have been keyed but its not too deep (not down to the metal) and the laquer on the roof has changed colour/lifted.
I bought the car a couple of weeks ago, and as soon as i bought it it needed a new wheel bearing fitted (which has been done), on the way back home the gearbox lost drive, but if you hold the pedal in the right position it creeps along. I suspect its one of the sensors, switches, etc, but i have no time to check.
This car will need to taken on a trailer not driven away.
Really is an excellent basis for a project, and if i didn't already have to do the same fix on my other panda i would be keeping it, but i don't have time to fix both cars.
