Ah, ok. Haven't been on here for a while. Been busy with a motor getting closer to usable status and a wife getting ready to drop child no. 2
Cheers,
Smiler.

I know Kilvo who posted it but not spoken to him since the event happened to find out more. It's also posted on www.scoobynet.com and last time I looked, there where lots of offers of free parts that people had knocking around their garages (wheels, panels, lights etc) which I thought was a nice touch. Edited to say: I've checked the thread and it looks like they never found the owner to offer the parts to him Also, there were three other cars stolen at the same event bbs.scoobynet.com/scoobynet-general-1/597061-what-would-you-do-scum-like.html?highlight=Donington

That's good to hear, the car comunity pulling together to help out. Shame they never got to him.
I really don't think I would want to attend a car show without displaying the car.

Is that at Donnington? Apparently they have had a security problem there for a while. I've been warned not to go there for precisely this reason.

Unreal. Some folks have no right to air in my opinion.
And I'd tell it to their faces.

Just cos something is good for you doesn't mean its good for everyone - for example Marmite does not make good Dog Food.

Seen worse. A mate of minr spent a fortune turning his Mini inti a complete sheow stopper, got it in Miniworld as a main feature. Was stolen off the seafront on the London to Brighton run a couple of years ago

RTTS was getting a really bad rep for thefts a while back, dunno if its any better now.
This is odd because Donnington itself is a quiet place and no bother there. The inlaws live there. Just the track where there seems to be an issue...

I heard one year 3 bugs walked. Or 3 air cooled vehicles anyway. That Oval was one of the more famous ones wasn't it. Even I have heard of the car and I'm not into the scene man.
