fitted with the 1.1 carburettor model so no fancy injection systems to worry about
starts first turn of the key it does have a manual choke but only really used on really cold mornings
all the fluids have been changed recently and all the levels are good there is no heating issues with the car
with it being the 1.1 its not the fastest thing in the world but its very reliable and cruises along in fourth gear
its ideal as a first time car as its cheap to insure and run its will go for miles and miles on a tenners worth of fuel plus its cheap to tax too
the gearbox was replaced in 2006 for a new one along with a new clutch at the same time there is receipts for this along with other receipts for work done over the years its had quite a lot of money spent on the car over the years
the battery is less than 6 months old too
she pulls through all the gears as she should and really is fun to drive I grew up with mk1-3 fiestas and capris and forgot how much fun they were
one key fits all locks and there is two keys plus two fuel cap keys
the bodywork isn't bad but over the years its had repairs it had two new sills late 2009
the fuel cap area has been repaired and its had bits of paint here and there the passenger side scuttle has had a repair and the lower rear arches not the best in the world but there an easy fix but remember its not a new car she is 24 years old so its to be expected
however if your looking for a cheap classic run about then she is spot on
inside os totally standard there is no gadgets inside manual windows and locks the original radio works as it should as do all the lights and gauges
the fan works as does the clock
the dash is nice and clean
the seats are like new and the carpets are very clean too
its very comfy to drive
she has rear seatbelts
there is the original jack too
all four tyres are good and she still has her original steel wheels with the smaller type hub cap fitted
under the bonnet is nice and clean
the ignition system is new
so to sum up she is cheap to insure/tax and run and is a bit of fun and she has a long mot and tax so once insured can be driven away
