Hello guys, this is an Ad for my 94' orange convertible Mk3 Golf.
This has the 2.0l 8v petrol engine. 99k on the clock
It was taken off the road last year due to an MOT failure due to failing on 2 corroded flexi brake hoses, a blowing catalytic convertor and a broken spring.
The catalytic convertor has been replaced and the flexi brake hoses will be included in the sale. I havent had chance to do/buy the spring. The drivers seat also has a tear in it but could be replaced with anything from any other mk3 golf, i believe the runners are the same.
I have very recently serviced the car myself (Oil, filter, spark plugs & air filter) and the car runs/pulls/stops very well, sits at idle nicely, has a bit of a squeal from excess air intake in the lower revs from a cracked pipe (will aim to sort this), good amount of meat on the brakes, very good tyres all round and a nice new vinyl roof.
All round the car is too good to break in my eyes, maybe not in yours. Its the ideal time to buy one that needs minimal work. Collection from RAF Coningsby LN4 4SY.
