so time to move on I would like a quick and harmeless sale to soften the blow. As most on here know this is my daily driver, I have bought it completely stock and built it to what you see here, I truly hand on heart trust this to take me anywhere it uses no oil water etc I have been to northmpton Birmingham Coventry and all over the place including using it every day throughout the last year and half and has caused NO trouble what so ever.
1995 corsa B in dark blue/purple with Full service history- I mean I have a huge folder of recipts from when it was new!. it has a 1.6 8v in it running on a f13 5 speed box. this was installed at the end of last year it is literally a bolt in job, and really has made it a lovely car over the previous 1.2 8v spi. the engine has been fully serviced(GM parts) new timing belt and rocker cover gasket, brand new battery last year. the box has had new GM fluid as well and seals. exhaust it runs a cast stock manifold and downpipe(new lambda sensor), has a sportex backbox, sounds really nice and can be completely docile if you want but if you want the noise it is there.
also has a brand new petrol tank installed as well.
suspension wise it has SPAX krypton coilovers on the front both height and dampening adjustable- the best when it comes to corsa suspension, on the rear we have 60m springs and shocks to bring it all down, it can go lower on the rear but I prefer the practicality of 60mm rear for day to day use. also I have installed a cavalier rear ARB. This combination makes it handle like a go cart. spot on drives straight and true.
interior it is stock check seats all in great condition , everything inside works, all clean and tidy, will come with the sony CD player and alpine front speakers. has the cables there to run an amp but no amp included. I may include the gsi 3 spoke steering wheel if deal is arranged but assume the stock 2 spoke for now please. the temp gauge doesn't work but that's the sender, it never overheats and the electric fan always kicks in when it gets warm. has a tilt and slide sunroof, and a blue top tint glass- all brilliant condition as well.
body- overall it is a clean car for its age,it has been polished and waxed using dodo juice and meguiars nd comes up lovely and deep when done so. but it does have its bad points, it has a few car park dings here and there as to be expected, and more noticeably it has a scratch down just the passenger door- this was there when I bought the car and was apparently done 5 or so years ago. I was going to get it blown in but because of time and money this never happened. it doesn't bother me it is all original OE paint and it is what it is at the end of the day.
underneath it is really clean there is no rot it has been waxoiled by myself last year with dinitrol products looks like new you can see this when viewed.
wheels are these cavalier/astra 4 spoke mine cv slabs with 185/60's. I did run steels previously but fancied a change, all in ok condition they do need a re paint in my opinion but they look pretty cute- it is 4x100 so plent of wheels out there to be chopping and changing.
I have been truly honest here, I may have gone on a bit , but I wanted to cover everything. it is a fantastic little go cart and will be an appreciating car I mean look at the novas nowadays..how many pre 97 early corsa b's do you see nowadays? this is a cracking daily with a punch and would even be perfect for track use if you want to go that way?
