Nice Cambridge, I can sympathise, I recently had to part with mine, it was an a60, 1964, in the same colour, also with a 18v MGB engine (with 270 degree cam, bored out with KAD pistons and with hif44 carbs on, and also with a 4 synchro MGB box with overdrive. I also milled down MGB kingpins to fit, allowing MGB stub axles and mgbv8 discs with AP 4Pot callipers and telescopic shocks, yet strangely all of the feedback I had when I came to sell it was people complaining, despite the advert "it doesn't have the original engine in it". Fair play for doing the 1800 conversion with overdrive, they are a fantastic car, I wish you every luck with the sale, have a free bump on me

Is that rust starting to bubble through the top of the wing by the n/s headlight (can't see very well on this screen)? I appreciate you say it's solid underneath but what is there in the way of rust? Cheers.
