Toyota Corolla 1.6 GTI 16V (rare car, only 130 odd left on the road)
Lovely Twin Cam engine, runs like a dream
5 speed manual, doesn't pop out of gear (common fault)
147k on the clock with some service history, couple of old MOT's and receipts for work carried out by previous owners

Good points:
Drives beautifully, engine sounds sweet and never let me down. Very nippy for a 1.6. Gearbox is in good condition without the common popping out of gear fault. Has that brilliant J reliability.
Lowered on 15" Mims alloy wheels. They have been powdercoated black but have a few scuff marks around the edges now. Tyres are like new, loads of life left in them (Toyo Proxies on the rear).
Has Koni shocks fitted and is on lowering springs. Previous owner said that the whole underneath has been polybushed (for the track). Handles like a go-kart.
Has been de-wipered on the rear for that clean smooth look.
Rear arches have been done in the past so no rust there now. Has had panels resprayed also.
Interior is in good condition, slight bolster wear on the drivers seat.
Is fitted with a double din Kenwood CD player but will only go with the car if I get the right price. Otherwise, I still have the original Toyota cassette player (rarity on its own) which will be re-fitted.
Comes with a spare exhaust back box and few spares like door mouldings and front black grill.
Bad points:
Rust coming through on the tailgate under the rear windscreen.
Rear heated windscreen not connected up.
Sunroof has some rust on it as can be a bit slow to open/close. Probably just needs some WD40 and greasing up.
Crack on the front windscreen, passenger side corner.
Knocking noise coming from the front drivers side when accelerating, I think its the spring that needs replacing?
Alloys have a few scuff marks.
Slight oil leak.
Passenger side door has a bit of rust coming through on the bottom corner.
Few marks here and there on the bodywork as to be expected for its age, no major bodywork damage.
All in all its a good honest GTI, with some TLC it will look even better. A rare car to see on the road nowadays.
